Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often should my septic tank be pumped?

A: It is recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency to have your septic tank pumped out every 3-5 years.

Q: How would I know if my septic tank is full?

A: Experiencing slow draining, back-ups in your home, or any foul odors coming from the drains are indications of the septic tank being full.

Q: What can I flush down my toilet?

A: Only flush human waste and toilet paper.

Never Flush:

  • Grease/Oil
  • Wet Wipes or Flushable Wipes
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Condoms
  • Floss
  • Cigarette Butts
  • Coffee Grounds
  • Cat litter
  • Paper Towels
  • Medications
  • Household Chemicals (Pesticides, Antifreeze, Paint, Gasoline, etc.)
Q: How will I know if my leach lines are failing?

A: Oversaturation where the leach lines are located or odors near the leach field are common signs that your leach lines are failing. Occasionally, your system may show signs of being overfull shortly after having your system pumped, this can also be a sign of leach line failure.

Q: What can I do to keep my septic system healthy?

A: Make sure to always keep up with septic pumping maintenance, as recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency, your septic tank should be pumped every 3-5 years. We also recommend using a natural enzyme treatment monthly, enzymes are a beneficial bacteria in your system on a microbial level. When using enzymes the beneficial bacteria will allow your system to break down solid waste faster and more efficiently, causing less strain on your system. If you are interested in using an enzyme treatment, we offer a Bio-Force Enzyme here.

Q: How do I schedule a septic pumping appointment?

A: Call our office or use our "Request a Service" button to get on the schedule. If you are interested in getting an estimate use our "Request a Quote" button. When scheduling a septic appointment we will ask you what city your home is located in and if your septic tank lids are accessible.

These folks are the real deal. Helpful, and honest. People that gripe about changing prices; myriad of variables can change the price on what they do.
